Cancellation Policy:

This Cancellation Policy aims to regulate the cancellation process for bookings made through the Quick Fix application, whether for immediate ("Now") requests or scheduled appointments, and to specify the applicable fees to protect the rights of customers, professionals, and Quick Fix.

1. Cancellation by the Customer:

• "Now" Requests (Immediate Service):

  • Once a professional accepts a "Now" request, the booking is confirmed and the subsequent cancellation policies apply.
  • If cancellation occurs after professional acceptance but before their arrival at the customer's location, a partial cancellation fee may be applied to cover the professional's time, effort, and travel costs (if any). The value of these fees will be clarified during the booking process or in the professional's service terms.
  • If the customer fails to be present at the agreed location upon the professional's arrival, the service will be considered canceled, and a full cancellation fee may be applied.
  • If cancellation occurs during the provision of service (for "Now" requests as well), the professional will be entitled to the value of the completed portion of the service, in addition to potential cancellation fees determined at Quick Fix's discretion and the professional's service terms.

• Scheduled Appointments (Future Service):

  • Cancellation 1 hour or more before the scheduled time: The customer is entitled to cancel the appointment free of charge, provided the cancellation is made at least one hour before the actual start time of the service specified in the booking.
  • Cancellation less than 1 hour before the scheduled time: If the customer cancels the appointment less than one hour before the actual start time of the service, a cancellation fee will be applied. The value of these fees will be clarified during the booking process or in the professional's service terms and may equate to a portion of the agreed-upon service value to compensate the professional for the reserved time and their inability to secure other work during that short notice.
  • No-show at the scheduled time: If the customer fails to be present at the agreed location at the scheduled start time without prior notification to the professional via the application, the service will be considered canceled, and a full cancellation fee may be applied. This ensures compensation for the professional's attendance and commitment to the appointment.
  • Cancellation during the provision of service (for scheduled appointments): The professional will be entitled to the value of the completed portion of the service, in addition to potential cancellation fees determined at Quick Fix's discretion and the professional's service terms.

2. Cancellation by the Professional:

• The professional has the right to cancel the appointment in exceptional circumstances (such as force majeure, unavailability of necessary materials, or safety-related reasons). In such cases, the customer will be notified immediately, and Quick Fix will make its best effort to provide an alternative professional or refund the amount paid (if the payment was made through the application).
• Repeated cancellation of appointments by a specific professional without acceptable reasons may result in actions taken against their account in accordance with the professionals' terms of use.

3. Cancellation by Quick Fix:

• Quick Fix reserves the right to cancel any request or booking in the event of suspected fraudulent activity, violation of the terms of use, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the safety of users and the platform. In such cases, the affected party will be notified, and any payments made will be refunded (if applicable).

4. Refunds:

• The mechanism for refunding payments (if any) will be determined according to the original payment method and within a reasonable timeframe. Details of the refund process will be clarified in Quick Fix's payment policy.
